Happy December!

I know I’m a little late to welcoming in the last month of this year, but my oh my, time seems to be flying by these days. Now that we are entering the week before Christmas and December almost over itself, I wanted share one more celebration in baby H’s honor. Truly these celebration posts are more for my sentiments than anything else, but there is just too much cuteness, love and creativity put into these showers NOT to share!

As we welcomed in December, my sister-in-law and mother-in-law threw baby H. and I the sweetest, cozy, Christmas baby shower! Again dear family and friends gathered to celebrate this soon-to-be-born baby and my heart continues to grow with gratitude for each and every one who has loved us so well during this pregnancy as we anticipate the arrival of our first born.

It was such a lovely afternoon cozied up in a quaint downtown restaurant, with warm drinks, delicious food and even better company! All of the details were a reminder to me of just how loved this little one is! We enjoyed conversation, games, laughter and yummy food, followed by sweet words sent by my out-of-town sister-in-law. I always try to do my very best to soak in the beauty of the moments in life, and this day was no exception. I am so abundantly blessed to be surrounded by loved ones who deeply care for me, and choose to bless our growing family with gifts, and words of encouragement-especially in this season.

The tables were lined with fresh baby’s breath, and little gifts for baby, no detail left untouched!

One of my favorite elements to the shower! Tiny little socks hung, so that everyone could fill out a blessing for baby H. and put it inside. Words touch me in a special way, this was exactly what my heart needed! Can’t wait to share each blessing with baby H. one day!

A huge thank you to my beautiful sister-in-law, Summer and Gigi who put so much of themselves into planning such a beautiful celebration! We are blessed indeed!
