Well Sweet little one, Mommy is currently sitting in the hospital lab for a 3 hour glucose test. Whatever the outcome of this test, I’m thankful to have you with me and moving all around. Since it’s just you and me for the next 3 hours, I thought I would tell you about your first baby shower. I’ll add in lots of pictures so you can see for yourself one day just a tiny snippet of how loved you are.
Mommy’s long time friend Anna and your aunt Lisa threw a beautiful shower in our honor last Saturday. So many beautiful women filled the space in Anna’s home, all to celebrate you! We enjoyed food, conversation, laughter and prayer- not to mention all of the wonderful gifts they showered us with! My heart was so full driving away that day, for so many reasons. Gathering with your people will always do your heart good, remember that my little one. My prayer is that you will surround yourself with people who care for your heart, as well as your being. There are few things more valuable than that.

I hope you enjoyed re-living the moments of our special day as much as I did! There was so much chatter surrounding your gender. More thought you would be a girl than a boy. We will just have to see! So much love for you my babe. Grow well today, we are all so excited to meet you soon!
